Ebay Auctions to Benefit Stephen Hild

Hi there everyone!

Curt and I are trying to come up with ways to raise money for the Stephen Hild NAU scholarship fund (currently at around $1,400) and we've decided to try some Ebay auctions using your donated items. Here's how it will work:

1. Contact me at rgrove@iliadbooks.com (or in the comments section of this blog) and let me know what you'd like to donate. You can either set up an Ebay auction yourself (it's very easy) or you can send me the item and I will take care of the auction, the payment and the shipping. Either way is fine by me.

2. If you decide to send items to me keep in mind that small, easily shipped materials are much better (and faster, too) to process and ship. By small items, I mean DVD's, books, used electronics (like digital cameras, audio players), unique signed items (photos, books) and anything else you think someone might find interesting.

3. Once I give the ok to send the item, wrap it carefully and send it to my work address:

Some items we don't need are furniture, used TV's, Computers, etc. Much better to simply donate these to a local charity as the shipping is high for large items and will eat up any money we might make selling them on Ebay.
